Gamers mourn after death of Nintendo President-Satoru Iwata

55 year old President and CEO of Nintendo- Satoru Iwata ended his game after a cancerous bile - duct tumor took his life on Saturday, 11 July.
The highly leading figure in the Japanese gaming scene, who oversaw the launch of the Wii console and Nintendo handheld had gamers paused in shock as the beloved iconic figure had turned off for good.
The death of Iwata- which was released by Nintendo on Monday, came at a bad time as the company was undergoing a new method of combing Smartphone and online gamers to try reduce the declining console sales.
The deputy general manager- Mitsuo Shimizu claimed that the new CEO has not yet been appointed as there is now great uncertainty since his death occurred just as there was a “glimmer of hope for the company”.
